SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS
Those students with disabilities or special educational needs may contact the Service of Attention to Diversity and Volunteering (ADYV - https://www.um.es/adyv) to receive guidance on better use of their training process and, where appropriate, the adoption of measures of equalization and improvement for inclusion, under the Rectoral Resolution R-358/2016. The treatment of information about this student body, in compliance with the LOPD, is strictly confidential.
ASSESSMENT
In the assessment process, Article 135.1(v) of the Statutes of the University of Murcia, Article 8.6 of the Student Assessment Regulations (REVA), and Instruction SG 18/2026 issued by the Secretary General of the University of Murcia, which interprets these provisions, shall apply. The instruction is available at the following link: https://sede.um.es/sede/documento/normativa/instruccion-del-secretario-general-sg-18-2026-sobre-la-interpretacion-y-aplicacion-del-art-135-1-v-estatutos-umu/24199.pdf
Students are also reminded that Article 22.1 of the Student Assessment Regulations (REVA) provides that "any student who engages in fraudulent conduct, including the improper misrepresentation of identity or authorship, or who is in possession of means or instruments that facilitate such conduct, shall receive a grade of zero in the assessment process and may, where appropriate, be subject to disciplinary sanctions following the initiation of disciplinary proceedings."

The proposed assessment in this area is divided into three parts:
- SE6 Firstly, the activities carried out in the theoretical-practical classes throughout the course will be assessed (15% of the final mark). 70% attendance of theoretical-practical classes is required in order to assess the content and competencies associated with this assessment system.
- SE3 Second, the compulsory practical training is assessed through cooperative work (35% of the final mark). These practicals are divided into two parts: the design of an innovative teaching unit for the teaching of social sciences, together with a detailed report of its contents (25%); and the presentation and simulation of one of the sessions of this teaching unit (10%).
- SE1 Finally, the knowledge acquired throughout the course will be assessed by a written test (50%).
Non attendant students could reach 100% of score in the Call II and Call III through a theoretical-practical exam.
If only one of the two parts is passed, the mark for the passed part will be retained until the end of the course (all the 3 calls).
Spelling and grammatical correctness will be taken into account in the assessment. For this purpose, the criteria established by the Faculty of Education teachers will be used: https://www.um.es/documents/d/educacion/criterios-ortograficos-facultad-de-educacion
The teacher will supervise a school trip in order to put into practice what has been taught in theory. Didactics of Social Sciences: Course Zero (2013), available on the OCW website of the University of Murcia, will be taken into account as a basic disciplinary subject of Geography, History and Art History in Primary Education, to which students can refer in case of doubt, or as an online reference bibliography, which, in addition to contents and concepts, provides resources, activities and useful links.
A variety of methods will be used to develop the lessons: didactic itineraries, service learning, flipped classroom, gamification, case studies, simulations and problem-based learning.
SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS Students with functional diversity or special educational needs may contact the Diversity and Volunteering Service (ADYV; http://wwwumes/adyv/) to receive guidance on how to make the best use of their training process and, where appropriate, on the adoption of compensatory and improvement measures for inclusion, in accordance with Rector's Resolution R-358/2016.
Students who wish to do so must request tutoring by email and the teacher will provide them with the details to carry out the tutoring in person or by electronic means.
In the case of double degrees, the teaching staff may make minor changes to adapt the teaching and practical sessions to these degrees (with their corresponding timetables and calendars).
