TEACHING STAFF REMARKS
TUTORING HOURS
This Syllabus provides tentative face-to-face tutoring hours for the academic year. Students are recommended to check the final schedule for face-to-face tutoring once the academic year has commenced.
ASSESSMENT
To pass the course, students must obtain at least 50% of the maximum score established for each of the assessment instruments.
Regarding theoretical and practical tests:
- All students must complete, at a minimum, one theoretical test and one practical test. The teaching staff responsible for each group will determine the format of these tests (multiple-choice, essay questions, oral examination, practical performance, or others).
- Assessment in the first examination session is continuous. In the event of unforeseen circumstances and in subsequent examination sessions, students may retake or make up any failed components through measures and instruments tailored to each situation.
- The teaching staff may schedule midterm exams throughout the course if deemed appropriate.
- Practical content will necessarily include vocal performance and performance using school instruments. The assessment of practical activities and the practical test will take into account aspects such as rhythmic accuracy, intonation, sound quality, musicality, and coordination within the instrumental or vocal ensemble.
Students who duly certify their inability to attend the minimum number of required face-to-face sessions must complete a specific test designed to verify the acquisition of the theoretical and practical content planned for the course.
The spelling and grammar criteria approved by the Faculty Board will apply: https://www.um.es/documents/d/educacion/criterios-ortograficos-facultad-de-educacion
